The US Department of Health and Human Services’ Interagency Working Group on Youth Programs (IWGYP) on behalf of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is issuing a call for research proposals on youth financial education.
Through this work, we seek to identify the factors that can advance research on youth financial education in order to improve practices and support practitioners in the field.
IWGYP, on behalf of the Bureau, will be awarding subcontracts of up to $25,000. The subcontract will pay for proposed research, a paper, and brief summary of the research and travel to a symposium. Research must be relevant to the CFPB’s Youth Financial Education Research Priorities or point the way towards evidence based solutions that are effective, scalable and invite implementation. The research will be featured in a symposium that will be held in early 2020 at CFPB’s headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Proposals are due May 31, 2019. To find out more about the call for research proposals, please view the call for proposals.
